He has been involved in successful plant turn-arounds and has served as senior cultural change subject matter expert. Douglas’s expertise is in cultural transformation and performance improvement. He has extensive experience in lean manufacturing operating systems as well as the leadership development and the people involvement processes necessary for successful lean implementation.
He holds a Master’s degree and has completed doctorate course work in organizational development. He began his career as a manager of a construction firm and served as a teacher, professor and finally as a director within the College System. Douglas has worked on various national and provincial projects within the Construction, Health Care, Architectural, Financial, Entertainment, Fire Protection, Golf, and Forestry Industries. Doug is an experienced facilitator, an accomplished mediator, a professional leadership coach and seminar leader in the area of cultural change and performance improvement.
